Miyamaso Hotel - Takayama (Gifu)

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. Plus, the location provided us with beautiful mountain views. Transport was convenient, with Shin Hirayu Onsen bus stop located right in front of the hotel. The delicious breakfast served was the cherry on top of a great experience.

Not one thing.

The food was absolutely delicious and the mountain views were breathtaking. The traditional atmosphere of the hotel added to the overall experience.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was subpar, with unclean walls and a dirty carpet. The walls of the hotel were also paper thin, resulting in a lot of noise and disturbance.

Friendly and accommodating staff, great food, beautiful mountain views, easy bus access from Takayama Station.

Not obvious to find.

The mountain views around the hotel are pretty impressive, and the surrounding area is quite beautiful. the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they had a yummy gala dinner served at night. Another plus is the bus stop located just outside the hotel entrance, which makes getting to and from the hotel relatively easy.

Getting to the hotel itself was quite a challenge as it was far and difficult to reach. We sent messages to them several times but received no response.
